Tom Romero: Gigs

This turned out to be a fun show. My good friend (and great massage therapist) Amy showed up. I played alot of guitar that night.
You notice alot from my perspective. When you play in smoky bars half the time it's YOU wathcing the crowd instead of the other way around. A homeless man came in, sat down, had a few beers and left. He wasn't pretty but he was polite and really enjoying himself. The staff was exceptionally nice!

Wild and crazy as usual. I havn't hosted the open mic there in several months.
As always...quite till about 9pm, then the college crowd starts filtering in.
At around 10:30 an entire band shows up for open mic with thier own p.a. and horn section. "John Candy Saves The Day" is thier name. Last year they were only a three piece.

Ok, why did I schedule a 9am gig again? Didn't I have a gig the night before? Didn't I have one later this evening?

It was fun when the pub-crawling rugby team came in dressed in 70's Disco clothes.
